Hiking Day - Join us for a trip up to Lake Geneva for a hike and late afternoon picnic. Bring your own sandwiches, drinks, simple side dish to share , and lawn chairs. We will leave the church after fellowship and drive to Lake Geneva. If you are not interested in taking a walk, come and just enjoy sitting by the lake.
Friday June 27 - Southern Gospel Concert - 6 PM - Church sanctuary - Featuring Ernie and Missy Fultz, from Nashville, TN and our own Bruce Johnson with his band, The Timber Point Bluegrass Band. No charge, but a free will offering taken to go toward digging wells in Haiti and the needy in the Appalachian Mountains.

Community Dinners - Sign up in the fellowship room. We are responsible for the third Thursday of each month. Held at the Poplar Grove Methodist Church.
Cookout and Movie Nights - We need lots of volunteers, please sign up in the fellowship room.

New Directory - We will be working on a new church directory, so we need any changes to your information. Jennifer will be collecting new info and Tiffany will put the directory together again. Please see Jennifer or email her with corrections.
Book Exchange - Lots of books and magazines downstairs. Get some good summer reading here.
LOOKING AHEAD
Fall Luncheon and Bazaar - September 27 - Use this summer to make items for the bazaar. Also, start boxing up those items that can be sold as treasures. We would love good books, like new gift or household items, vintage items, antiques, holiday décor, nice jewelry or any thing else you would call a treasure. You can start bringing them to the church basement, just make sure they are marked as "treasures".
