Restoration is what we have been talking about most recently at CCC. It is what God desires for each of us, and for all of us.
What would you like restored? Start your list. Better yet, ask God what he would like to restore in your life.
When I do that, one of the first things that comes to mind is LOVE. God wants to restore to me the first love I had for him, when he entered the mess I called my life, and cleaned me up, stood me upright, and set me free. That passionate love is what I want restored more than anything else! And he wants, and deserves it, too.
In the middle of this month we will celebrate Valentines Day. It's all about love. Like you, I will be thinking about how I can tell my own dear love how much she means to me. Maybe we ought also to consider how we can show our own dear Father how much we love him, too.
Let him restore your first love!

Thursday February 20 - Community Dinner at Poplar Grove Church - Talk to Sandy Free if you would like to help.
Saturday February 22 - All Church Breakfast and Vision Meeting - Come at 8 for breakfast and the meeting will be from 9-12. The board would like to see everyone attend! We will follow up with last years process and continue to look to this year.

SERVICE OPPORTUNITIES
Flowers for the sanctuary - New sign up sheet in the fellowship room. Individuals are asked to sign up for a month and furnish real or artificial flowers or some kind of décor for the sanctuary. If you would like to take February please contact us! We could use you starting tomorrow!
Greeters - Sign up in the fellowship room. Talk to Leslie if you have questions.
Refreshments - Sign up in the fellowship room. Talk to Jennifer if you have questions.
Blue Barrel - Long, cold winter means needs are high. Continue to bring food for the pantry.
Community Dinner - Served in Poplar Grove, volunteers needed, talk to Sandy Free if interested.

Book Exchange - Getting cabin fever yet? Escape through a good book or magazine. Located in the basement. Also check out our great library upstairs.
Offering Envelopes - Boxes are available for the new year in the entrance.
Six adults, four kids and 4 dogs hit the trails at Rock Cut in January. It was awesome. Consider joining us this month on the 16th.
