Family Fun Night - This Friday August 21 at 5:30 bring your bike and head to church for a fun evening. Ride from the church to the Caledonia Rd. shelter via the bike path. Supper will be waiting there. Sandwiches, chips, and drink. Head back to the church for ice cream. Don't want to ride? Just come to the shelter about 6 to eat. Bikes, skateboards, scooters, roller blades are all welcome. Contact Nikki if you need a bike - 815 - 979-3641.
Adult Sunday School Class - Starting Sunday September 13 a new study will begin. Becky Brauer will be leading a discussion on the book The Allure of Gentleness, Defending the Faith in the manner of Jesus by Dallas Willard. The class will be in the church basement at 9:15 on Sunday mornings. The class will run about 8 weeks. We are letting you know now, so you can order the book if you want to participate. The September newsletter will also carry this information, but we wanted to make sure you have plenty of time to get the book.
